Bev was prompted by Frank’s latest piece on the benefits of singing to your baby to tell us a short tale.

She says, “when I was pregnant with my fourth child I was taking guitar lessons.  The guitar of course rested on my ever swelling stomach and I am sure the vibes went through to baby Kate.

After her birth she lay in her car basket and listened to the group of us strumming away and singing. Her favourite song was Ralph McTell’s Streets of London.

Kate is the most musical of my children and has a beautiful contralto voice.”   Bev
